– Includes pass to evening dance

Full Workshop Package ($60):

– Member price: $15
– Includes entry into both the Live Band Lindy room and the West Coast DJ room

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is my money going?
This year, we are pulling out all the stops! We have professional out of town instructors, a live band for the Lindy Hop social and an amazing out of town DJ for the West Coast Swing social! This is also the first time that we are introducing an aerials class! There are many new and exciting things to experience and drastically increase your skill set for not 1, but 2 different dance styles!
Do I need a partner?
Nope. We rotate partners constantly throughout each lesson (except Aerials, more on that below). However, if you would like to bring someone and stay with them only, that’s fine too.
How much experience do I need for an advanced class?
For Lindy: If you can confidently do a swing out as well as your typical beginner moves such as a tuck turn or change of place, then you should be fine.
For West Coast: If you are comfortable with basic West Coast moves such as left side pass, sugar push and underarm turn, then you’ll be fine.
What are aerials and can I do them?
Aerials are lifts, dips, flips and any major transfers of weight between partners. This is the one class you need to sign up for with a partner. Make sure the lead is able to comfortably lift the follow.
How do I find a partner for Aerials?
If you don’t have or know a parter that you can sign up with, we will be hosting a short pairing session for dancers to find partners they think they’ll be comfortable with. So make sure to come out to the social on November 7th.
